$1.50 Gas Prices Are Here—and $1 Per Gallon Could Be Next
AAA: Gas prices down another penny this week.
A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 79 cents higher at $2.85. “The lowest Thanksgiving gas prices in seven years helped spur plenty of holiday travel, and the downward trend at the pump continues on the heels of the long holiday weekend,” says Mary Maguire, AAA Northeast Director of Public and Legislative Affairs.
AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every trip, every time. AAA Northeast is a not-for-profit auto club with 61 offices in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire and New York providing more than 5.1 million local AAA members with travel, insurance, finance, and auto-related services.
