Average Gas Price Falls Below $2 Per Gallon.

Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday that the average price of regular gas fell 4 cents in the past two weeks, to $2.06 per gallon. The website says the national average could bottom out at $1.85 before rising in the spring as demand rises and refineries shift to federally required summer gasoline blends. A Business Insider report said, “Over the last year and a half, the price of oil has been on a steady march lower, taking gas prices with it though the pass-through to the pump has been on a bit of a lag.
